This post is pivotal in ensuring that the administrative and waiting list services effectively support the clinical management of patients within Plastic Surgery, Burns, Renal & CIC Services within Regional Directorate. You will be responsible for leading and managing the waiting list team and will work directly with Senior Management to support achievement and maintenance of the key performance indicators. Management of waiting times is a key objective where you will be required to undertake a flexible approach in ensuring optimal utilisation of theatres and clinics working in conjunction with the Senior Management and Clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a person with admin and waiting list experience who is keen to advance their career. A good knowledge of waiting times targets, Cancer Waiting Times and Treatment Time Guarantee is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in order to influence and develop constructive working relationships with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical staff and patients, as well as good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Advanced skills in Microsoft Packages is essential to review waiting lists and provide reports to Management when requested. This post would be suited to a person who takes a creative and innovative approach to the way they work.
