We are looking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic AfC Band 5 Registered Adult Nurses to join our specialist nursing team working in our Stroke Unit based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. These are exciting roles for candidates striving for excellence and who want to make a real difference.

Successful candidates will benefit from a range of development opportunities, including: a comprehensive induction programme, support with your continued professional development, and access to speciality specific enhanced skills training.

Whether you are newly registered or an experienced practitioner seeking a fresh start, we welcome your application to join our dynamic team.

We are seeking candidates who

  • demonstrate a flexible attitude and will be inspired to deliver a high standard of evidence-based person centred care.
  • demonstrate an ability to work on your own initiative but most importantly you must have the ability to communicate with the inter-professional team to enhance the patient experience.

In return, we can offer the right development and support by the multi-disciplinary team, clinical practice educators and a strong education ethos.

Reporting to and working closely with the Senior Charge Nurse you should also be able to work on your own initiative, supported by the wider nursing team and will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence based programmes of care with reference to patients, without direct supervision.

You will also co-ordinate the provision of seamless care for patients from admission to discharge by utilising efficient communication practices with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team / Primary Services and Carers
