Full-time 37.5 hours per week - (Job share for this post will be considered)

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced community Occupational Therapist to take up a one year, full-time, fixed term post, with potential as a secondment, on the beautiful Isle of Skye.

You will work as an autonomous practitioner to provide Occupational Therapy to those adults that require it, within an integrated district team, you will also act as lead professional for a designated caseload coordinating aspects of health and social care delivery; providing a single point of contact for the person and their carer/s; initiating, developing and co-ordinating improvements in interdisciplinary practice in relation to functional independence and safety needs at a casework and service level.

In conjunction with Band 6 colleagues; supervision and day to day management of Band 5 Occupational Therapist and Health Care Support Workers.

The service provided should be consistent with both local and national standards.​​​​​​​
