An opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Assistant within Station 14, University Hospital Ayr. Station 14 is a General Medical ward.
This opportunity would suit a caring and compassionate person who is keen to make a difference throughout the patient’s hospital journey.
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be beneficial but is not essential as training will be provided.
You will be flexible to shift patterns and your focus will be in providing safe, effective and person centred care of the highest standard.
You will be required to demonstrate a positive attitude, be a motivated individual who is willing to undertake training to develop new skills.
You will be required to use your own initiative whilst working as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
Under guidance and supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team you will be involved in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
Post 1 - 28.75 hours worked in a rotational shift pattern.
