An opportunity has arisen for a nurse with excellent communication skills to work as part of the Tayside Cardiac Specialist Nurse Team.
The post holder will be involved in the delivery of nurse-led cardiac care for patients across Tayside & North East Fife, across a range of cardiac specialties, necessitating the development of knowledge and skills within cardiac rehabilitation, arrhythmia and heart failure. This will be a rotational work based competency rotation throughout the specialities.
The post involves working closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team over primary and secondary care and requires the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Whilst based in Ninewells Hospital the post holder may be asked to deliver services across Tayside.
The post holder must be registered on Part 1 or 12 of the NMC Register. Extensive post registration experience is essential alongside sound knowledge of cardiac nursing. A relevant degree level qualification is also essential.
