An exciting opportunity has risen to work in this advertised role. Duties will involve:
- Assisting the Service Manager/ Lead in the management of performance, planning and business objectives.
- Providing overall system management of the NDAS databases, Teams site, etc.
- Providing clinical management information to system users and other relevant parties via the production of reports, downloads etc.
- Liaising with project teams and resources (internal and external).
- Is fully responsible for the NDAS database/ systems and NDAS MS Teams/ Sharepoint sites or similar, and any Social Media accounts.
- The provision of a highly professional, comprehensive, effective and efficient admin and clerical service within all NDAS clinics. Provides secretarial and administrative service to the NDAS team and additionally PA support to Service Manager/ Lead for NDAS.
- The line management and co-ordination of the dedicated NDAS administrative team.
- Organises multi-disciplinary meetings, patient groups, study days and educational events locally and nationally for the NDAS team and Service Manager/ Lead who chairs a range of committees and groups. This involves setting dates up to a year in advance, selecting and booking venues, arranging audio visual and print resources taking account of any special requirements, booking speakers, assisting in travel & accommodation arrangements, selecting and arranging catering (taking account of dietary requirements). These events frequently require adjustment of plans.
- Supporting the NDAS Lead and other members of the wider NDAS team in arranging training courses including booking venues, distributing programmes, booking places and dealing with financial requirements of same courses. Will also provide admin and clerical support during the running of the courses.
- The postholder will also be expected to undertake clinic reception duties on a semi regular basis within the Pines, Inverness and an ad hoc basis within other clinics.
