SENIOR STAFF NURSE – WARD 2C
Band 6
37.5 hours per week, Permanent
Ward 2C, our dedicated Medicine for the Elderly ward based in Raigmore Hospital are delighted to be recruiting to the position of Senior Staff Nurse. This is an exciting development for the team as this additional post is being implemented to enhance the senior nurse support on the ward.
Ward 2C is a busy 28 bedded unit, offering acute care and comprehensive multi-disciplinary team assessment & care planning for frail elderly patients. Our ward offers staff the opportunity to work as part of a friendly, well supported team, with close liaison with patients, carers and their families. We specialise in care for patients with Parkinson's Disease, delirium & dementia, frailty, and are committed to empowering our patients to maximise their independence. In addition, the team also provides compassionate and quality end of life care.
Our ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Registered Nurse whose enthusiasm, caring nature, and willingness to support and lead the team around them will shine through. The successful applicant will work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
