A permanent opportunity has arisen for the Property Department, Estates Division to recruit 2 Painter Maintenance Craftspersons to be based in Perth Royal Infirmary Hospital, Perth.
The post holder will act as a fully trained and certificated Painter/Decorator to provide Painting services to meet the needs of the Service.
Minimum requirements for the post are a recognised and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent), Craft/Modern/Adult Apprenticeship & City & Guilds Certificate in Painting and Decorating, or equivalent approved qualification, or in certain circumstances equivalent experience.
The main duties of the post will be to undertake essential repair work and general maintenance activities under the instruction of the Supervisor / Chargehand (Locality Dependant)
The ability to travel between NHS sites to carry out repairs is required.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
