Hours-Permanent post(s)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist that would suit individuals who are interested in working with patients presenting with severe and complex mental health problems. 0.5 WTE is located in the Community Mental Health Team in NE Edinburgh where an established Clinical Psychologist colleague is currently in post.

In addition to the provision of individual and group therapies you will be required to provide support to the multi disciplinary staff team through shared assessments, psychological formulation, reflective practice and consultancy. Teaching and training for the CMHT generally will also be expected as part of the role. The post holders will additionally be expected to engage in audit and research activity.

A parallel range of clinical and wider professional activity will be expected of the IHTT postholder who will work with clients presenting in crisis where typically responsive shorter term input will be required with particular focus on liaison and consultancy with CMHT and acute in-patient colleagues across Edinburgh.

We would be delighted to receive enquiries/applications from applicants who may be interested in one or both of the half time posts available.
