This is a full-time permanent post.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced nurse to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation Team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The successful candidate must have specialist cardiac knowledge and skills,  with extensive current clinical experience.  The post holder will be expected to be proactive in the continued development, provision and design of cardiac rehabilitation at all its stages.  You will have your own clinical caseload and will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, treatment and discharge of patients within the service, with a focus on health behaviour change and management of long-term conditions.   Promoting and fostering person centred care is paramount to this role and effective communication across the multidisciplinary team and primary and secondary care interface is essential .  You must have excellent clinical, communication and time management skills whilst demonstrating an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.  It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and that you have substantial relevant post registration experience.
