Head of HR Management Information Systems
AfC Band 8A
£50,965 - £55,016
We are looking to recruit a Head of HR Management Information Systems following the promotion of the current post holder. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and operation of our NHS Lothian wide HR Management Information Systems (eESS). This will also involve leading on system upgrades, system developments and future migrations to cloud-based technologies. The post holder will also have lead responsibility for all other systems and databases used within the HR and OD Directorate, ensuring they remain fit for purpose and providing advice and guidance and support where required.
Candidates will have ideally completed an IT or HR related degree and will have built up significant experience of carrying out similar duties preferably within a health care environment. Project and change management skills are essential along with experience of managing third party providers. It would also be important for applicants to have gained experience in Database Management, SQL/HTML programming, Microsoft Office, Web Solution implementation, Web page design and Business Objects Enterprise Reporting. A sound knowledge and understanding of data protection regulations like GDPR will also be required.
This is a superb opportunity for an experienced HRIS Manager with strong data management experience who is looking to develop their career. The role is a hybrid role working some days in the office as required.
