SENIOR NURSE ENDOSCOPIST

Salary Scale £50,965 - £55,016 per annum
NHS Highland's endoscopy service is looking for a Senior Nurse Endoscopist to join the team in providing upper and lower GI investigations. The role would be based at Raigmore Hospital but with the option of also working at rural general hospitals in NHS Highland.
Approximately 6,000 scopes are carried out in the Endoscopy Unit at Raigmore every year which includes elective and emergency patients.
You would join a team of 4 nurse Endoscopist’s (2 in training) delivering elective endoscopy, Cytosponge, Bowel Screening, pre assessment telephone appointments and training sessions.
We are therefore looking to recruit a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Endoscopist who wants to join our friendly team and to support the continued development of the service as we work towards JAG accreditation in the unit.
