This is a full-time permanent post.
An opportunity has arisen for two Band 3 Health Care Support Workers within the Multi-disciplinary Addiction Teams (Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services).
Based within the South of the city, you will work under the supervision of our trained nurses, supporting the engagement and retention of vulnerable service users who use
alcohol and/or drugs and who may have complex health and social needs. Applicants will have good communication skills and have a keen desire to work within a Specialist Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service.
Successful applicants will receive training and development to enable them to deliver a range of interventions which include venepuncture, drug toxicology screening, Blood
Alcohol Content (BAC) testing, and Blood Bourne Virus (BBV) testing.
