Band 7 Dietitian - Advanced Dietetic Practitioner, Critical Care
Permanent Part time (0.9 WTE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 7 Advanced Dietetic Practitioner to join our Acute Dietetic Service. This post will be based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with an NHS Lothian wide remit to provide leadership in clinical practice.
The post holder will work closely with other dietitians in the critical care team to provide a dietetic service to ICU and HDU. The post holder will be expected to supervise members of staff, provide clinical leadership, participate in student training and provide operational support to the team when required. The post holder will also contribute to research, audit and evaluation and broader service development.
We are strongly committed to training and support with annual appraisals, peer support and training opportunities to further develop clinical skills.
We would welcome applications from experienced dietitians with an interest and experience of working in ICU who are committed to working as part of a dedicated team to deliver high quality care.
Please note: As this post is part-time the salary will be pro-rata. Working days will be Monday-Friday in order to cover the service.
