This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the NMAHP Corporate team as Personal Assistant to the Director of Midwifery. The post predominantly supports the Director of Midwifery with organisation and management of email, diary scheduling and meetings and note taking. The post holder will work as part of the NMAHP administration team and provide cover and support as required for the Nurse Director, Deputy Nurse Director and AHP Director in conjunction with their personal assistants.
The Director of Midwifery holds a portfolio of work for midwifery and maternity services and the post holder is required to liaise and correspond with professionals and senior managers in the NHS Highland and national maternity service networks.
Interested applicants must be able to demonstrate, through experience, an ability to be organised, show initiative and be comfortable working in an environment where competing priorities are a daily challenge.
It is also essential that you are an excellent communicator, are able to show discretion and diplomacy in a confidential setting and have previous experience of working in the NHS or a similar organisation as a large, complex multi-site organisation.
NHS Highland offers a hybrid work pattern, including a mix of home and office based working.
