An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Fife Out of Hours Nursing Team. We have a base at Glenrothes Hospital & Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
You will be required to have excellent communication and clinical decision- making skills. A flexible approach to working within the community and an interest in caring for patients in their own home is required.
You will be required to deliver a high standard of safe and effective patient care within patient's homes and must have the ability to work autonomously.
The post involves working evenings / waking nights, with the hours worked over 7 days, including weekends, to meet the needs of the service. The post will be based in one of the above hospitals’ however you may be required to work in other areas across Fife.
An orientation programme will be available to support you in this post. An ability to travel within the Fife area is essential.
