We are inviting applications from enthusiastic individuals to become an eESS System Officer and join our team, based in the People & Culture Directorate’s HR Service Centre. eESS ( Electronic Employee Support System) is a National Workforce Information System which has been implemented in NHS Grampian and will be used by all managers to record workforce information.
As part of the eESS system team, you will provide first line support and guidance to users, assist in resolving enquiries and undertake appropriate actions to support maintaining an accurate, up to date Workforce system. As an eESS System Officer you will electronically assess employee and employment related transactions and make assessments on accuracy and validity, prior to releasing transactions to the payroll system. You will also undertake various quality assurance checks within the eESS system.
Applicants should be educated to HND level, or have equivalent experience in a similar setting of system processing, testing and supporting users in a system which has significant impact across an organisation. Proven ability to manage a diverse workload whist working to deadlines is required. A keen eye for attention to detail as well as maintaining high standards of accuracy is essential. Good communication skills and being a team player are also key requirements of this post.
Experience of ePayroll and/or SSTS (Scottish Standard Time System) national systems is an advantage although not essential as full training will be provided.
Applications are invited for this permanent full time post of 37.50 hours per week. The successful applicant will be based Westholme, Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen.
