CLINICAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGIST
Band 8B - £61,325 - £66,018
18.75 hours per week – Part time, Fixed term until end of March 2023
An exciting opportunity has arisen in supporting patients with Long Covid and the those participating in the MACH (Mental Health After Covid Hospitalisation) Project, to work within the mental health service and as part of a wider a multi-disciplinary team to provide a targeted and agile service to help mitigate mental health effects of Covid before they come entrenched.
Develop pathways to ensure that there is good mental health support at all points of the rehabilitation pathway leading to better physical as well as mental health outcomes.
The individual will work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of policies and procedures for the long Covid service infrastructure in NHS Highland. To apply highly specialist skills in audit, research, policy and service development in Long Covid and related clinical specialties. To link in with psychological services group for making suitable referrals
