An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Nurse to be part of Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
Donbank Ward, Inverurie Community Hospital comprises of a 17 in-patient beds that delivers GP Acute Care, Palliative Care and rehabilitation and enablement to the local community. In addition the team provides Day Patient care on the ward.
The post of Senior Charge Nurse for Donbank Ward , Inverurie Community Hospital is an exciting and diverse senior nursing post with multiple opportunities to develop and work with a strong and empowered multi-disciplinary team, delivering high quality care to the local community.
The successful candidate should have 5 years post registration experience and have a good understanding of the complexities of the community hospital. The candidate should ideally have worked as a Junior Charge Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse and have a good understanding of the role of the Senior Charge Nurse and the requirements under Leading Better Care.
The post holder must be able to evidence excellent leadership and change management skills. It is essential for the post holder to demonstrate high quality communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to inspire, empower and motivate the nursing team.
The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering on service provision, redesign and quality improvement to ensure the provision of safe and effective person-centred care.
