Senior Information Analyst

Cancer Medicines Outcomes Programme
NHS Lothian / South East Scotland Cancer Network
Due to funding made available from the Scottish Government, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with information management experience to join the NHS Lothian Cancer Information Team (CIT) with a remit to work within the Cancer Medicines Outcomes Programme (CMOP) and other relevant CIT projects. CMOP is a research project being undertaken in collaboration with the to explore the capability of existing NHS data systems to determine the clinical effectiveness of cancer medicines (including those for end of life) in the real life setting. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will be responsible for data analysis of existing NHS data systems and contributing to the development of new processes.
This post requires highly developed information technology and analysis skills with highly developed knowledge and experience of data capture and reporting. Effective and confident communication skills are necessary. You are required to have a Higher degree with a high numerical and statistical content
