We have an exciting opportunity to recruit to a specialist Band 6 post to work with the frail elderly within the Victoria Hospital in patient areas. 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled OT to work alongside colleagues within the MoE team and to establish joint working with the front door teams, Integrated Assessment Team (IAT) and the Rapid Assessment and Discharge unit.(RADU)

You will have strong interest in working with the elderly and the frail patient to deliver effective evidenced based care to optimise their occupational performance and to promote safe and timely discharge from hospital.

You will have a positive experience of managing their own case load and of multi agency working and will engage in quality improvement activities both collectively and independently.  As a Band 6 you will be required to support and supervise registered and non registered staff.

The occupational therapy department supports continuing professional development through supervision, TURAS appraisal, in-service programme and training.  

You should have the ability to travel throughout Fife effectively in a timely manner as required.
