An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Violence & Aggression Prevention Team.
The Violence & Aggression Prevention Team provides training, support and advice to staff across NHS Highland, promoting quality and safety for both patients and staff. You will work with the Violence & Aggression Prevention Manager and the team of Advisors and Trainers.
You will deliver Violence & Aggression training and education, promoting a safe and person-centered approach to practice across NHS Highland contributing to the reduction of risk and severity of incidents of Violence & Aggression. You will be part of a team responsible for the day to day delivery of the Violence & Aggression and Lone Worker training. You will deliver training across NHS Highland in a variety of settings to a variety of disciplines.
The successful post holder will have considerable experience of delivering care in a health / social care setting and also experience in teaching/training. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential as is a good working knowledge of IT, including word processing, databases and presentation software would be an advantage. The successful candidate will require to hold a current accreditation as a Violence and Aggression trainer with the GSA.
Everyone invited to interview will be required to deliver a short presentation as part of the selection process.
