Who we are

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.  Full information on the recruiting department is available here https://www.nes.scot.nhs.uk/our-work/pharmacy/

What you'll do

What you'll bring
This is an exciting new initiative offering secondment/fixed term opportunities to pharmacy technicians.   Significant experience as a work based assessor is required as well as a flexible approach to learning and problem solving, effective prioritisation and sound judgement.  Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders and training providers will also be essential for the delivery of these posts. The nature of the posts will also allow you to further develop your knowledge and skills in an education and training environment at a national level.

Experience and understanding of the SQA assessment processes and quality management systems is desirable.

You should be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
