An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Support Worker to work within the Caithness Community Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service Team, based in Thurso . This role is to provide person centred care to people who use drugs and alcohol within Caithness under supervision of a Drug and Alcohol Recovery Nurse. You will be expected to carry out agreed programmes of care as appropriate to support recovery, as well as assertively outreaching people who are identified as at risk of harm.
A full UK driving licence is essential and, though a pool car may be available, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes. They will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
This is a permanent full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
