An exciting opportunity has become available for a Pharmacy Technician to join the developing innovative Pharmacy Team working across Justice Healthcare (HMP Perth, Castle Huntly and Tayside Custody Suite), Tayside Substance Use Services (TSUS) and Out of Hours (OOH). This post, with the support of the Lead Pharmacist and Specialist Clinical Pharmacists, will help continue to develop the role of the Clinical Pharmacy Technician within these areas to help provide excellent, high quality patient care to a unique population of patients. The post holder will also work closely with the Pharmacy Assistants to help develop their roles and drive forward changes in the medicines supply chains across the specialties ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. The post holder will be an integral member of not only the Pharmacy Team but the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) across the services. 


Candidates must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Hours of work are:  30 hours per week. Note: That whilst this post does cover the Out of Hours Service, working hours will be predominantly office hours however some flexibility would be required.
