The Managed Service Network for Neurosurgery (MSN) is a national network dedicated to the provision of national neurosurgical services delivered in four centres across Scotland.  The network’s responsibilities are extensive: from staffing to research, and underpin the equity of access and quality of the neurosurgical service provided by NHS Scotland.

We are looking to appoint a National Network Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve a range of ambitious goals for the neurosurgical service.  Working with the teams in the four centres, you will lead on specific programmes of work designed to embed improvements in the service, build on the evidence base of best practice, and promote collaborative working between the four units.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, a visible leadership style which demonstrates sophisticated knowledge of policy context, and an ability to work at a strategic influencing level.  To be considered for this highly visible role, you will have the ability to inspire and motivate staff and create the momentum that drives excellence and improvement.
