This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, forward thinking and highly motivated pharmacist to join the senior pharmacy team in Cancer Services. The SJH Cancer Unit is part of the Edinburgh Cancer Centre (ECC) providing day-case and outpatient services for oncology and haematology patients. The ECC also has a broad research portfolio and participates in a wide range of cancer clinical trials, some of which are delivered at SJH. The pharmacists in the unit are integral to the multidisciplinary team and are highly valued to ensure accurate and safe delivery of systemic anticancer therapy. There will be opportunities to participate in pre-assessment clinics and to utilise pharmacist independent prescribing skills. This individual will work autonomously in partnership with the NHS Lothian Cancer Care Pharmacy team and will also participate in service development activities within the unit and in Pharmacy.

Candidates must have a Master of Pharmacy Degree or equivalent, must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and should have completed a Clinical Diploma or Masters in Clinical Pharmacy.  An independent prescribing qualification is highly desirable.
