NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde are looking to expand and develop the Advanced Practitioner Reporting Radiographer service. The opportunity for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team and drive the service forward have arisen. We are looking for enthusiastic advanced practioner reporting radiographers with a keen interest to develop their own professional portfolio and support colleagues within the wider radiology team. We are an inclusive team and encourage both full time or part time applications. Currently the scope of practice includes plain film MSK reporting inclusive of GP, IP, OP and ED. We actively support development of the four pillars of advanced practice and can provide excellent support and training for your further development. We are looking for individuals who are keen to as part of a team which currently consists of nine Reporting Radiographers and a Consultant Radiographer with ongoing commitment to grow and mentor the development of additional trainee reporting radiographers.  We are looking for qualified reporting radiographers who are looking for a new challenge, a way to develop their experience and join our supportive team.  Current plain film activity of in excess of 530,000 per year, the reporting radiography team report approximately 80,000 yet we are looking to build our team and develop this to create a sustainable multidisciplinary reporting service in Scotland’s largest health board.  We have an integrated reporting service with radiology trainees and consultants who provide training and support with the reporting radiography team to drive forward our services.  We work as a pan GGC reporting team, yet base sector is normally fixed, however we are flexible and promote a healthy work life balance and we are keen to work with applicants to ensure that the role is an ideal match to their experience and aspirations.
