An exciting and challenging position for a part time clinical trials administrator’s has arisen within the Oncology research team based at ARI. The position is for 29 hours with the Oncology Research team. The post will support the data input and administrative activities including trial set up for the team of research nurses and data managers based in Oncology/Haematology. The posts will allow you to develop the administrative skills to contribute to the efficient implementation of the cancer clinical trials.
The post holder will be responsible for setting up the locally hosted cancer trials in the ANCHOR Unit, inputting data collected for the clinical trials into trial databases and on CRFs, keeping trial paperwork up to date and filed appropriately, and for implementing standard procedures across a range of different trial projects. You will act as a point of contact and will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to use your own initiative from forward planning to effectively managing workload in a role that requires the ability to multi-task. The post holder will have a pleasant and professional manner and a flexible approach to working, with the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment, prioritising and organising workload within tight time-scales and deadlines.
The post will provide an opportunity for someone with research and administration experience. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, has a flexible approach and who will work to the high standard required in research.
The hours of working will be flexible between Monday to Friday.
