We are seeking an individual who, above all else, can demonstrate a personal and professional passion for driving forward services and opportunities for older people in the Airdrie area, and who is excited by the challenge of coordinating health and social care services to make sure they are based closely around older people's needs. This will be someone who holds a qualification in the fields of Nursing, Midwifery, Health or Social Care.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of integrated health and social care day services and opportunities for older people in Lanarkshire, consistent with national standards, NHS Lanarkshire and North Lanarkshire Council procedures and policies.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of nursing/social care to a high standard, while developing and promoting an environment which will enable service users to maximise their potential for independent living​​​​​​​.

Carrying overall responsibility for supervision and management of nursing and Social Care staff, the post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using their own initiative, effective time management skills, working knowledge of basic information technology, and excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.​​​​​​​
