Trainee Practice Nurse
Hours of Employment: 24-30 hours per week (Full time may be considered)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

Cowdenbeath Medical Practice has a new and exciting opportunity for a Trainee Practice Nurse to join our team. We are a busy training Practice with a patient population of over 11,000 patients. Our clinical team consists of 9 GP Partners, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Treatment Room Nurses and a Phlebotomist all of whom are supported by an excellent team of Reception and Administrative staff.
The successful candidate will be a registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years general nursing experience. You should be enthusiastic, motivated and have the ability to work autonomously. The Practice Nurse role will encompass Cervical Screening, Chronic Disease Management and anticoagulant monitoring. Some experience within a General Practice setting is desirable however; full training and support will be available for the most suitable candidate.

Working hours are 24-30 per week which will be worked over a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
