The Community Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Service is looking for a Clinical Support Worker to join the North West Team based at the West Centre in Drumchapel.
The successful candidate will support the speech and language therapy team to provide a service to individuals or groups of clients with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs and/or eating and drinking difficulties.
The main duties include carrying out therapy programmes under the supervision of Speech & Language Therapists and liaison with clients, carers and others. The post holder will have a delegated responsibility for independently managing the therapy sessions. He/she will develop, implement, evaluate and monitor therapy tasks and activities to meet the therapy aims agreed with the speech and language therapist.
