This is a permanent part-time post for 22.5hrs. The shift pattern is;  Predominately Monday - Friday- various day duty 

As a Band 3 Health Care Support worker ( HCSW ) within specialist services you are expected to have previous NHS HCSW experience and have the ability and knowledge to deliver specific clinical and technical skills including venipuncture & cannulation, ECG recordings as directed by team lead/ nurse in charge ,Consultants or clinicians .
You will support specialist areas within South / South West sector, Consultants in various out- patient specialist clinics / Diabetic Foot Clinic and planned day patients in Medical Day unit. You will undergo training to competently perform specific aspects of care including foot care / phlebotomy/ vital signs and ECG recordings.
You will display polite & confident communication skills to engage with patients, various services, hospital clinicians and General Practitioners whilst upholding confidentiality at all times. 
You will be experienced in ITC skills including e- forms & Trakcare systems. You will be based within the South / South /West Sector GG & C on a part time permanent basis, day shift pattern of 3 working days, flexible over Monday – Friday basis or as the service requirements dictates. 
It is your responsibility to ensure all of your statutory/ mandatory Learnpro modules are constantly up to date, to include any additional modules relevant to the service and HCSW requirements 
This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme.
