An exciting opportunity has arisen within Catering Services. We are looking to appoint an individual who can demonstrate excellent day to day leadership and communications skills to manage Ninewells Hospital Catering service. Ninewells hospital is the largest hospital in NHS Tayside with 862 beds and caters for a wide variety of patients & dietary requirements. A previous catering track record of successfully delivering a high standard of service provision is essential.
This role reports to the NHST Patient Services Manager and contributes to the strategic planning of Catering Services for NHS Tayside.
The successful candidate will plan, organise and develop patient services within Ninewells Hospital. Candidates should possess strong leadership qualities, experience of high food safety standards and management of budgets within targets. The post includes assisting in implementing organisational change and workforce re-design, project management and service planning.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week
