An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Teenage and Young Adult cancer team based at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. We are looking to recruit a Teenage Cancer Trust Youth Support Co-ordinator to join our existing multiprofessional team, providing age appropriate care and support to Teenagers and Young Adults (aged 16-25) with cancer.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with extensive experience of working with young people. To be successful in this role you will need to be emotionally resilient, have compassion, sensitivity and a sense of humour.  An ability to work autonomously and be proactive is also essential.   Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering tailored 1 to 1 and group support on and off the unit.
