VARIOUS HOURS AVAILABLE, NORTH EAST FIFE AREA, FIXED TERM & PERMANENT
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and revised MOU-2 agreed between Integration Authorities, SGPC, NHS Boards and the Scottish Government set out agreed principles of service redesign (including patient safety and person-centered care), as well as ring-fenced resources to enable the change to happen. The scope of the programme is to deliver all priorities defined in the General Medical Services Contract (2018) and associated MOU and MOU2. We are now at the exciting stage of developing and creating a Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC) across Fife. The first stage will involve CTAC staff working within general practice, providing long term condition monitoring, wound management and phlebotomy.
We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity which has arisen within Fife Health and Social Care (H&SC) Partnership for band 3 health care support workers to work within the CTAC Service.
Within this role you will provide support to the band 5 registered CTAC nurses and deliver care as directed by them and other members of the MDT to the population of Fife and support with the daily line management of the band 2 phlebotomists within the treatment room/hubs/general practice settings.
You will have extensive skills and experience of working within a community setting and be able to work as part of a multi-professional team. You must have flexibility, excellent communication skills, be adaptable to change and evidence of continuing personal development.
