NHS Tayside is recruiting a dietitian to join Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service (TNDS) rotational scheme.
Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service currently has thirteen rotations across a range of specialist services including acute, community, weight management, mental health, renal, medicine for the elderly and paediatrics. The duration of each rotation is approximately twelve months. The rotational model provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience, develop knowledge and skills in a range of clinical areas and has been designed to offer optimum scope for career progression.
We are currently seeking a band 5 Dietitian with good communication and inter-personal skills. The post holder will begin their rotation in a community based team.
The Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service promotes collaborative working across all our teams. This enables and encourages the development and implementation of pathways, standards and innovative practice. It also allows for extensive peer support and opportunities for professional development. We are committed to the training of dietetic students, medical students and other healthcare professionals.
Leadership and clinical supervision will be provided. All applicants will require to be registered with the Health Care Professions Council prior to starting in post.
Hours of work are: 37.5
