We are seeking to appoint an Associate Director (Senior Manager) who has experience, skills and commitment and drive to lead in the planning, management and provision of services within the Access portfolio. The Associate Director will also support the Chief Officer Acute Services to deliver against NHS Tayside’s Remobilisation Plan and Waiting Times Governance.
The post holder will with the Deputy Associate Nurse Directors, the Associate Medical Directors and working in partnership with the Health & Social Care Partnerships lead the development of an integrated whole system approach for the planning and delivery of primary and secondary health services to the people of Tayside and North East Fife, and to the achievement of national priorities and key service imperatives to secure high quality and sustainable services to patients. In addition to direct and manage the planning and provision of specific tertiary services.
Most importantly the post holder will be expected to ensure services are delivered to a high standard, making the best use of available resources to ensure that patients receive the best possible evidence-based care, treatment and interventions.
You will be educated to Masters Level or equivalent. A demonstrable track record of success in a senior manager position within a complex health care environment is essential.
