We are seeking enthusiastic people to become Heath Care Support Workers (HCSW) who are keen to learn new skills and develop their careers to join the newly forming National Treatment Centre - Highland (NTC) Theatre Team.

The NTC-H is a new purpose built centre which will provide care for both Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic Patients. The Centre is under construction on the City's University Campus and has 5 theatres, a 24-bedded ward and dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department. Successful applicants will be based at Raigmore Hospital, prior to the NTC opening.

The NTC will cater for elective adult patients undergoing Hip/Knee replacements, we will also perform hand, foot and ankle surgery. We will also perform a vast array of Ophthalmology procedures under local and general anaesthetic.

You will be based within theatre recovery and will be supported to develop skills within a Theatre environment  also and we aim to promote flexible working arrangements.

We are aspiring to build resilience across the Theatre Team within the new Centre by providing opportunities to develop a wide-range of skills and offer career progression.
