Enthusiastic and confident assistant required to join our Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist working across Oban, Lorn & the Isles. The post holder will be fully supported by the Occupational Therapist and work under their supervision. Work involves planning and implementing occupational therapy interventions such as activities of daily living, leisure activities and improving community skills. The postholder will also be involved in group work, including outdoor groups such as Walking and Branching Out.
You will have excellent communication skills and an ability to work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team. Experience in a mental health setting desirable as well as a positive attitude to people with mental health problems and recovery focussed care.
Driving Licence essential.
Training, support and supervision will be provided.
