An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Dental Officer based in the Dental Department at the Victoria Integrated Care Centre, Helensburgh. We are looking for an experienced Dentist to join our team providing dental care under GDS regulations for adults and children with a wide range of disability and impairment, people with medically compromising conditions, patients in long stay hospital and care homes, and sedation services.
We are looking for a self motivating individual with excellent communication and patient management skills who can demonstrate leadership and a willingness to support your colleagues within the team and become involved in staff training. Participation in the National Dental Inspection Programme may also feature.
Applicants should have Full Registration with the GDC, a relevant postgraduate qualification and at least five years experience in providing care to patients requiring special care and evidence of participation in Postgraduate Dental Education is essential.
As all Dentists are required to join the NHS Highland Dental List, all non UK, EEA nationals will now be required to provide evidence of their knowledge of the English language. NHS Highland has determined this as overall band score of 7 with no section lower than 6.5. from the International English Language Test System.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively to various work locations throughout NHS Highland Argyll & Bute HSCP
