An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Educator to join the NHS Borders Care Home Support Team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Registered Nurse with excellent communication and clinical practice skills to work within the care home setting.
This post will support develop, manage, deliver and evaluate clinical education programmes in line with service requirements and the wider national agenda. They will support and assess the clinical practice environment and propose interventions to sustain and enhance clinical practice. As clinical educator you will facilitate the development of clinical practice in relation to safe, competent, administration of fundamentals of care in the Care Home settings.
This role, along with colleagues within the Independent providers will ensure Care Home practitioners have the clinical skills to provide safe and caring healthcare which supports implementation of the corporate objectives and aligns to living the organisational values. This post will support NHS Borders and Scottish Borders Council to deliver a first class sustainable service, which has patient safety and positive patient experiences at its core.
