The Health Information Resources Service is NHS Grampian’s health education resource centre, supplying leaflets, posters, condoms and other materials to both NHS and non-NHS clients across Grampian. We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic person to:
- Collate, package and (when necessary) deliver customer orders across Grampian
- Take customer orders by phone, email, etc. Answer queries; update the Resources database
- Assist clients when they pick up their orders in person
- Order materials
- Check, log and appropriately store deliveries to the department
- Facilitate the delivery of equipment to and from various events
Applicants for this post should have excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to work productively as part of a small team, and the possession of a flexible ‘can do’ attitude are also required. Candidates should have a good standard of education. A full, clean driving license is essential and basic IT skills would be an advantage. Applicants must be physically fit.
