A part-time vacancy exists in the Technology (Mechanical) Section of Oncology Physics. The post holder will be part of a small team (2.5 wte) and contribute to the routine duties in the section, including linear accelerator maintenance, QA and repair, and development of new equipment. Two 3-d printers have recently been bought by the department. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for the work involved. The interviews will take place on 16/08/22.
Minimum qualifications are a degree or an equivalent level of knowledge, and experience in mechanical engineering and some knowledge of radiotherapy physics. Consideration may be given to a less experienced person, employed under Annex21 arrangements
