An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Integrated Manager to work in partnership with the Associate Locality Manager and Lead Nurse to help us drive our forward-thinking transformative plans for Community Nursing Services within Dundee.
As the Integrated Manager you will be responsible for a designated service area including all budget, physical and staff resources and to be accountable to the Associate Locality Manager for ensuring the services and systems are carried out in a consistent manner. This will include being responsible for the strategic and operational management of staff, taking a lead role in commissioning external contracts, ensuring the clinical contribution to service delivery is of the highest quality and is one that enhances the persons experience through the provision of safe, effective, efficient, timely, equitable, and person-centred care.
The successful candidate will support the Associate Locality Manager with the development and integration of the multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams, ensuring a culture of team working, communication and collaboration. Initially this post will lead on the transformation of Community (District) Nursing Services in line with the Scottish Government and DHSCP strategic plans.
The successful candidate will also provide professional clinical leadership and professional management to Community Nursing staff working across the Health and Social Care Partnership with a focus on practice and professional issues within the legal and ethical framework as established by relevant professional codes and National Legislation to ensure peoples interests and wellbeing are met.
You will have an appropriate professional qualification in adult nursing and relevant managerial / team lead experience.
Hours of work are: 37.5 hours.
