AUDIOLOGY TEAM (RAIGMORE HOSPITAL)

SENIOR AUDIOLOGIST

BAND 6

37.5 Hours Per Week 

 1 Year Fixed Term to cover Maternity Leave


An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Senior Audiologist based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.  The postholder will be required to travel to peripheral locations where overnight stays may be required providing a locally delivered Audiology Service to both adults and children and support the ENT service at times of peripheral  clinics as well as joint clinics at Raigmore Hospital.  The postholder would be part of and supported by the NHS Highland Audiology Team based  at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. 

The Audiology Service has a wide range of responsibilities covering the whole Audiology population including adults, children and newborn hearing screening.  The successful applicant will deliver comprehensive rehabilitative care, complex diagnostic assessments of hearing and care for adult hearing aid users, children of all ages and their carers/relatives. 

Applicants should have scientific knowledge acquired through formal training to BSc Audiology or equivalent level and be state registered with the Royal College of Clinical Physiologists or HCPC (Clinical Science).
