This is a Fixed term post of Two year (renewable)
The shift pattern for this post is Mon – Thurs 08:30-17:00 Fri 08:30-16:30
The post will be based at the Clinical Trials Unit, the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Glasgow which is one of the major cancer clinical trials units in the UK.
The post holder will mainly work on a range of phase I to phase III cancer trials that the CTU participates in. Main duties of the post will involve assisting in the collection and processing of data and organising of clinical trials in cancer.
Applicants are requested from candidates educated to higher level or equivalent, with good knowledge of medical terminology, experience in a paramedical field, or extracting clinical data. Clinical research experience and knowledge of current legislation in the area, NHS environment, and oncology field is essential.
