We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic advanced Practitioner, Nurse or Paramedic to join our friendly team in East Craigs, Edinburgh. Requirements:
● post graduate diploma in advanced practice and/or master’s in advanced practice
● team player
● excellent communication skills
● friendly, caring attitude
● ability to work autonomously
Experience of working in a primary care setting is desirable but not essential. We are happy to offer full support to ANPs from secondary care.
The role includes covering house calls, managing your own workload of patients through a combination of telephone, video, and face to face consultations.
The East Craigs practice is part of the Barclay Medical Group, which is a forward thinking, progressive group of practices passionate about providing the best care for every patient. We believe that healthcare is a partnership between patient and practitioner. We strive for excellence in the care we provide and believe that teamwork is paramount to achieving excellence. We have a well-established multidisciplinary clinical team consisting of GPs, ANPs, GP paramedic, practice nurses, pharmacists, health care assistants, and a CPN. We support professional development and offer in house training sessions as well as financial support for courses. We believe in a culture of support within the practice. We have daily team meetings (with coffee of course!) to discuss difficult cases or seek advice. We also have a clinical group chat where you can ask a question and have the experience of our entire Lothian team of over 30 clinicians answer your question.
