This post provides an exciting opportunity to make a contribution to improving the quality of clinical care and services in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Quality Improvement Team to provide leadership in supporting, coordinating, and managing quality improvement projects and programmes across the organisation. You will have at least 4 years’ experience in a role which demonstrates a high level of knowledge and practical experience of quality improvement methodologies, project management approaches and use of tools to support effective data handling. You will be highly articulate, with well-developed influencing and negotiation skills, making you proficient in managing relationships and building networks. You will have highly developed problem solving, analytical and communication skills, and will be competent delivering information using a variety of approaches. This is a permanent post. The role will be agile and the base location is negotiable and the post-holder will be required to travel across all sites in NHSGGC. The Lead Clinical Improvement Coordinator post is located within the Clinical Governance Support Unit (CGSU) that has a key organisational objective to support the NHS GGC Clinical Governance Policy. Corresponding work programmes relate to promoting and demonstrating high quality, safe, effective and person centred care and services.
