We are part of a friendly, hard working and dynamic integrated team, with community Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists (Dcc & rehab), Falls team, Jt Equipment Stores, and the Independent Living Review Team. The posts is located at the Dundee Independent Living Centre & Community Equipment Centre (DAILCEC). The Dundee East and West Rehabilitation teams work closely to flexibly deliver a service to the people of Dundee with the community (Dcc) Occupational therapists

This is an exciting time as we are committed to quality improvement and service development across health and social care. The successful candidate will lead a team, support service improvement, undertake clinical and professional work, and will be an active participant of the Leadership Team under the Integrated Manager.

The post holder will be expected to hold an active caseload of clients who have complex needs, using an individualised rehabilitation approach to promote independence and quality of life, linking with statutory and third sector services to ensure a holistic approach. Good working relationships and support are essential across all therapy teams and the candidate will work closely with the OT Manager (Dcc) and OT Team lead (West).  Base- Dundee & Angus Independent Living & Community Equipment Centre, Charles Bowman Avenue, Dundee, DD4 9UB

Students are actively encouraged across the H&SCP. The postholder will contribute to improvement and CPD in the service as part of the wider rehabilitation service.  Dundee H&SCP provides excellent formal & informal supervision, actively supports individual development through performance development review and learning plans, provides a framework for encouraging CPD & promotes innovative practise.

As services may be provided over seven days in order to support patient flow as well as testing different delivery models, flexible working hours will be required as part of this post.
